Venkanna, was brought in to the hospital unconscious. He was in a coma for 15 days before he opened his eyes. When he did wake up, venkanna recognized no one. Not even his wife laxmi who is home maker. He has 2 sons who are pursuing their education. Venkanna cannot eat, talk or walk any more because of severe damage to spinal cord.

Venkanna hails from yatavakilla, suryapet district and used to be the only breadwinner of the family. He works as a daily labour and earns Rs 12,000 per month. This in no way even begins to cover what has been spent on his surgeries and medication.They have already spent Rs 6 Lakhs on venkanna’s treatment so far. Venkanna needs another Rs 10 Lakhs to undergo further treatment. He needs ICU care for a few more weeks, medication and possible surgeries to be able to get back to being healthy again. He is severely injured and needs extensive treatment to make it. His family comes from a very poor background and cannot afford the cost of the treatment. Raising funds online is his family only hope.
