Bhaskara Lakshmi(Age 51) is suffering from stage-3 Breast Cancer(Invasive carcinoma). On further investigation it was found that she is having Her-2neu positive as well which is more aggressive cancer which require expensive medicines Trastuzumab or Herceptin. She is now undergoing treatment in American Oncology Institute in Hyderabad.

She was suggested to undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy followed by the surgery and then followed by couple of cycles of radiation treatment. The entire treatment would get completed in 7-8 months and the expensive drug herceptine needs to be taken for at least an year.

Her-2Neu type of cancer is too expensive to get treated and the approximate cost of the entire treatment will be around 18lacs.

My insurance coverage will be exhausted for just 4 chemotherapy cycles with co-pay and we are looking for generous donation which help my mother to complete her course of treatment and get cured. 1st chemotherapy is completed recently on 15th December 2018.
