My name is MUKIB AHMED BARBHUIYA and I am raising funds for UNCLE, KAIMUL AHMED BARLASKAR. He is not currently employed due to APLASTIC ANAEMIA and needs funds for his treatment. He has wife, two children. He currently stays in a remote village in Udharbond Block in Cachar District, Assam. He ran small businesses but currently not able to earn because of his illness. Aplastic Anaemia has been diagnosed as a result of which he feels fatigued. Apart from the medicines prescribed by the specialist in Christian Medical College, Vellore, he has to get blood transfused on a frequent basis. He does not have required financial support to travel to Vellore on regular intervals and to get the treatment done. He is not admitted but has to travel to Vellore from Silchar (Assam) to get the proper treatment. He has been suffering for more than a year and it has been a tough time for him and his family. Medications is his only hope at getting better and living a normal life. His treatment will cost approximately Rs. 800000. He used to maintain his family by running small poultry unit as well by selling locally grown vegetables, milk from goats and cows and with the financial assistance from relatives. Since currently he is not able to do manual labour and finds it difficult to take care of the cows and goats, it is not possible for him to have consistent source of funds for taking up long and expensive treatment. He does not have savings in the banks also. Moreover, the relatives and friends have been helping him from the time the disease has been diagnosed. But how long they will help? Everybody has his or her limitations.

The funds raised will be used towards his:

• Medicines
• Doctor's Consultation Charges
• Hospital Bills
• Part of the amount will be used for to and fro travel of the patient and attendant from Silchar (Assam) to Vellore and their stay in Vellore

All of us are eagerly awaiting his recovery. Once he gets better, I'm sure, apart from taking care of his family in a better way, he would spread awareness about this rare disease so that early diagnosis is done for better treatment. He will also run a campaign to make Silchar Medical College and Hospital capable of treating such diseases which will be a big help for the poor patients of the locality. This person has two small children and has only a few friends and relatives who can support him for a short time, but he needs financial support for a considerably longer period to get recovered fully.
