Jitheshraj Scholarship for promising freshmen identifies
and brings together students of NIT Trichy who have the curiosity to explore, the discipline to persevere and the will to make a difference. This competitive scholarship, given in honour and memory of Jitheshraj Periasamy, provides 50000 INR to one first year student, based on their application and their performance in the interview. We, the alumni of NIT Trichy, also offer mentorship sessions for all applicants as well as personalised mentorship sessions for the scholar.
Funds collected from this fundraiser will be used as the corpus whose interest will be used as the scholarship amount as well as for the organisational expense (approx. 10000 per year)

I am honoured to inform you that we will be using 50000 INR from this year's contribution to award Mr.Nithin Balaaji DV, Jitheshraj Scholar 2018-2019 his scholarship amount. Another 50000 INR is being set aside for the events that happen throughout the year under the scholarship banner: this includes mentorship sessions and alumni support for the current first year students of NIT Trichy.
