“The Jitlem Spring of Anthoi Guirdolim Chandor Goa-India ” Rainy Season water flows from the spring. One can enjoy the bath and breathe in fresh air. It is so calm and peaceful . People of Anthoi and surrounding used to carry water or drinking purpose and for bathing also people from Benaulim, Colva, Cansualim, Fatorda and many more used to flock and stay in rented houses close to the spring. They enjoyed both in the morning and in the evening the cool breeze and peaceful atmosphere. It is said that Dr. Alfredo Antao took the initiative, tested the water and built the surrounding wall, so that the people of Chandor could benefit from it. Many skin ailments got cured, example eyesight, seabies etc.

So We the Youth boys have come forward to take care of our spring as it is about to collapse so we wants to protect it and restore and develop our ancestral fresh water spring and make it a tourist destination, so that it will benefit everyone.
