Nandri! Dhanyavaadalu! Danke! Gracias! Merci! Shukriya! Grazie! Kiitos!

With extreme happiness, Raghav and I want to let everyone know that we hit our target (actually higher than planned including the donations we received on our wedding day!!) on our wedding fundraiser. This means that we will be helping 200+ children in Chennai, India get quality supplementary education through Bhumi.
It wouldn't have been possible without YOUR support. Thanks to each and everyone who donated to our campaign.  It means a lot to us and it is a great start to our married life!
With loads of love and gratitude,
Raghav and Janani

As Raghav and I (Janani) step into this journey of our matrimony next March, we wanted to kickstart the celebrations by doing something that we both care about - bringing about a change in the thought process of  society in any way we can. We believe quality education to be one of the major sources to bring about this change .

As part of the wedding , we are fundraising 1,25,000 INR or $2000 to help 200 children get quality supplementary education . The beneficiaries of this fundraiser would be children from three homes in Chennai, India who will receive English, Math, Science and Computer Science supplementary programme through Bhumi.

I was a volunteer with Bhumi's Kanini program, which teaches under-privileged children basics of computers from 2008 - 2012. Though I'm based in the US now, I have always kept in touch and followed their initiatives. They are one of the fastest growing volunteer-based organization in India and  working with their founders is an absolute delight.

Every contribution worth 500 INR or ~$10 will help one child get this opportunity for one whole year. We hope you could contribute as much as you can and make this fundraiser a success.

Milaap have cheque pick up facility in major cities. Please take alook at this link if you would like to contribute using a cheque https://milaap.formstack.com/forms/cheque_collection. Thank you!
