We are a group of individuals from different backgrounds, Jeevitnadi – Living River Foundation, who are passionate about environment conservation. The mission of reviving rivers, is our drive for all our actions. We have been conducting various initiatives such as Toxin-free living Programs, River Walks, Pre-teen programs as an awareness campaign.
As part of a Jeevitnadi Initiative, the Muthai River Festival - 2016, (23rd-28th November) that we are organising, to bring public awareness to the fore, on the importance of our main freshwater resource, the rivers, we have an activity organised specially to commemorate those Indians who have been working at the forefront of their causes, but away from the common man’s view.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
Many people contribute in various ways towards making this world a better place to live. Many are working on various aspects of the river. It is necessary that their work reaches people. It serves as a guiding light to others who wish to contribute but do not know how.
Jeevitnadi team will honour these people. A special feature will also be carried out on Jeevitnadi website and Facebook page for the whole year.
