My name is Ritu Sehgal. I am here to raise funds for my husband, Kapil Arora. Kapil is 45 and we live in Delhi.
Kapil is suffering from Covid19 for the past four weeks and diagnosed with Covid Pneumonia with Type-1 respiratory failure since 20th April.
Pneumonia has taken a toll on his lungs and he has gone through ICD Insertion procedure last week. He is slowly stabilising but his SPO2 levels are fluctuating around 85-90%. He is currently in Max Saket, New Delhi and receiving ICU Care. Our daily hospital expenses for the last 20 days has been about INR 72000 per day. According to doctors, he needs at least 12 more days of ICU. Already, our expenses have crossed INR 18 lakhs. Another INR 12 lakhs are required in next 2 weeks. I am trying supporting his therapy through our savings. I have been able to pay only 4.5 lakhs till date.This amount is going to be a challenge for me. Expense daily INR 72000 per day ( from 20th April till date which is about 18 Lakhs). Also another 10 days of ICU Care( 72000X10 days=7 lakhs)
