Vyasa Vidyalaya is a primary school run by V.V. Ramanajum educational and charitable trust in April 2011 for the benefit of the residents of Moolaikaraipatti and the surrounding village. The founder had a dream to educate the village children to make them good citizens of the nation. With this burning desire he began with the primary school. After him his son V. Ramasubbu has taken charge of the school and continued his service to the society. Unfortunately his demise made it impossible to see the school as a high school. The managing role passes on to his daughter R. Subbulakshmy who wishes to fulfil her father’s dreams.

The school is run from its own funds and fees received from the students. The Trust owns around two acres of land. The present strength of the school is around 320 is likely to increase to about 500 from the coming year and may go up to 1000 if high school is established as there is no English Medium school in and around that area.

Being situated in a village the school has to balance many hurdles - illiterate parents, difficulty in transport, storage of accessories for children and safety of the school. To address all these issues financial stability is needed. At this juncture the trust welcomes sponsorship donations, monitory or in kind.

Jnana dhaana (giving knowledge) is one of the most important offering which devotes the donor and the donee. The donation to the trust can get tax exemption. The plaques with the names of the sponsors will be inscribed on what they have donated.
