My name is suresh kumar.I work as a photographer and my wife usha kumari is a homemaker.I had already spent all my savings for the medical expenses of my son.Till date (As on 21-06-2018) expenses around 8,50,000 INR had been spent for the treatment(22 days of NICU stay since 30-05-2018(Date of Birth).I am no longer in a financial position to bear these huge costs.Hence I am raising funds for my son, Baby of usha kumari, as per hospital records.(not yet named).

He is Premature baby delivered on 30-05-2018 at TMT Hospital, Kollam.In view of respiratory distress 2 doses of surfactant given and mechanical ventilator for 3 days followed by CPAP for 4 days and weaned off to room air.Baby had apnoeic attacks from day 8th of life, feed intolerance informs of abdominal distension.

In view of hsPDA(2mm) IV paracetamol was given for 5 days.In view of thrombocytopenia and anemia, platelets and PRBS transfusions given.On 6-6-2018, culture positive for candidastarted on Fluconazole.

In view of PDA(Patent ductus arteriosus), signs of NEC(Necrotizing Enterocolitis) and Sepsis,baby was referred to TMT child care,Hospital, Kollam(India) for further management on 23-06-2018(24th day of life).Currently baby is on CPAP, IV antibiotics, partial parental nutrition, Inj.Caffeine, Inj.Lasix.PDA surgical ligation was planned.

Baby needs (NICU) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit stay for 2 more weeks followed by (PICU) Pediatric Intensive Care Unit stay for around 2 weeks to closely monitor under medical supervision.
