Dear Supporters,

Here is an update on Thiyagarajan.
We are so grateful for your thoughts and prayers to help Thiyagarajan recover. He has recovered and got discharged from Miot Hospital on last Thursday (12th Oct) evening around 7 PM.
He is doing well now and doctors have advised taking regular diet food.

Here is a short summary:
On Aug 3rd , Thiyagarajan had severe abdominal pain with profuse sweating and was admitted to nearby hospital in Tondiarpet and doctor diagnosed as an infection on pancreases.
He was in ICU for 3 days and then moved to general ward after a week he got discharged from hospital and a week after that again he had same symptoms and this time there was severe infection than the previous time.
Few days later Pseudocyst was formed on pancreases and he was having severe pain and doctor advised to go with open surgery to remove the cyst.

On Sep 12 he underwent open surgery in Srikumaran hospital to remove the Pseudocyst and he was kind of okay for 5 days after surgery. Doctor advised to take liquid food and on 6th day he vomited blood and doctor advise to admit to Kauvery hospital for further level treatment.
He underwent Endoscopy and he did not improve well. So finally moved to Miot as referred by the family doctor who had done the surgery. He was in ICU for 10 days and underwent  Angio and later Endoscopy.

Later on, he was shifted back to the international ward for observation.
Due to lesser immunity, he fell sick again doctor took blood samples and diagnosed as Malarial fever. This lead to further reduction of his Hemoglobin count and 4 units of blood were infused.

However, currently he has recovered and is doing well.

Thanks for all your support and love.
Regards
