    Shobhit Verma

    from Mumbai, Maharashtra

My youngest brother, Shobhit Verma aged 23 years has been suffering from PRCA (Pure Red Cell Aplasia – a chronic disease and form of blood-related disorder) since December 2011.

During this period, we have spent a huge sum of money on his treatment out of our limited means and resources. we have got him treated from various doctors at Allahabad, Dehradun, Delhi, Mumbai and even Vellore, and with all available medical treatments from Ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy and of course allopathy, but nothing seems to be working and his condition is deteriorating day by day and from last 9 months he is Blood Transfusion Dependent.  His ailment is chronic and now life threatening.

As prescribed by doctors, the last resort which can save his life, is a bone marrow transplant (BMT), on which an expenditure of Rs.16 lacs is required (copy of estimate, given by Dr. Niranjan Rathod, HOD BMT Unit, Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. He is undergoing the treatment and we have arranged some amount however he has got some infections during the procedure hence the estimate has been increased and is now around 23-24 lakhs. he is still admitted in the Hospital. This huge expense is way beyond our means and capacity.  Even if we pool all the resources available to us, we shall be able to manage a very little sum of the amount as per the Transplant Cost. For the remaining amount, I humbly request you for your kind benevolence in providing financial assistance so that, the life of my son can be saved.

In these times of distress, I have none else but almighty God and help of people to rely upon.  I therefore, humbly request you to kindly consider donate as much as you can, even little help will be a huge support, I, along with my entire family, will ever remain indebted and grateful.
