We at Nehru Zoological Park strive to achieve an equilibrium between wildlife conservation and maintaining a knowledge center to sensitize people towards animals and their welfare. To couple with conversation education, we bring to you our Animal adoption program – to instill a greater sense of responsibility towards protecting our furry friends.

Government has introduced a program for adoption of animals and bird, vide GO Rt / No 324 EFS & T (For II), Dt.18/9/2000. Under their directive, birds and animals may be adopted by individuals or corporates to provide exceptional care for zoo animals through personalized diets and mental and physical stimulation activities to encourage the same behavior as displayed in the wild.

• Raise greater awareness about endangered animals
• Provide better facilities for our animals
