On 27 September, my Aunty Saraswathi, around 63 yrs old, from Coimbatore was taken to the G. Kuppusamy Naidu Memorial (GKNM) hospital as she felt breathless and became unconscious. She is diagnosed with CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE, SEVERE MITRAL REGURGITATION, DIABETES MELLITUS and RENAL DYSFUNCTION. For the same she undergoes multiple surgeries like Open Heart Surgery, CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS GRAFT WITH MITRAL VALVE REPLACEMENT (HANCOCK VALVE) + INTRAAORTIC BALLOON PUMP. She is still treated in ICU. 

As on 6/10/2016 expenses already crossed INR 600000 (Six Lacs) and Hospital's approximate cost during discharge would cross INR 1000000(Ten lacs). Till now her only son manged to meet the expenses with loans and lending from friends and family. But he doesn't know how to meet and repay the remaining hospital amount.
