    This fundraiser will benefit

    Anand Kumar Jha

    from New Delhi, Delhi

Hi, my name is Anand Kumar Jha and I am raising funds for my father, Ravi Kant Jha  who is admitted in a Hospital since 23rd April 2021 for Covid-19 complications.

My father is a very strong person and is very supportive in helping others in need. He always has a soft corner for the people who struggle to survive in a day-to-day life. He wasn’t aware that the day will come where he will have to seek help and support from everyone. The deadly covid 19 hit our family few weeks back where all of my family members got caught of it. My mother, younger brother, sister and I got recovered after the medication but situation couldn’t improve for my father and worsen over the period. Intially, he was admitted at “Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, New Delhi” where he was on Oxygen support from 20th April until 23rd April.
As his HRCT revealed 85% to 90% lungs impact and his SpO2 was dropping to 75 – 80 (with Oxygen support) thus he was admitted to “Medanta Hospital” in Gurgaon on 23rd April (As this was only Hospital having 1 vacant ICU Bed during that peak of Covid in Delhi) and immediately shifted to ICU with HFNC oxygen support as his lungs condition were severe. On 30th April, the situation worsened further where his SpO2 dropped significantly and the doctors shifted him to Mechanical Invasive Ventilator. He is on Ventilator support since then and has shown some positive signs (vital improvement) recently which shows us a ray in the dark that he is still fighting to come back.

We all are standing with him in this fight but our finances are completely gone with the treatment cost. Already managed to pay Rs. 24,00,000 via all the savings we had and rest via Credit Cards and Loans from family/relatives however the treatment cost has already crossed Rs. 34,00,000 (on 2nd June) and is increasing at Rs. 1,00,000 per day. He will continue to be on mechanical ventilation/ICU for 2 to 3 weeks which would require at least another Rs. 25,00,000.  We have explored all the options available to us however these costs are beyond our affordability thus need your support for his treatment.

With this, I sincerely request you all to please help me in this hour of need and help me have my father back at home.

Please help us in providing the finances to let my father fight the illness. I know he is a fighter in real life and I am sure he will fight back!
