I am feeling depressed writing about Pammi Venkat’s misfortune, an employee from my organisation, Capgemini and a close SAP associate to me, who lost his child Ramya, and his younger brother Rajesh in a tragic & terrible accident on July 1st, 2016.
Pammi Ramya, the 10-year-old girl who was injured in an accident on Banjara Hills Road number 3 near Panjagutta on July 1, succumbed Saturday night after battling for life for nearly 10 days. Ramya, her uncles – P Rajesh and P Ramesh, her mother P Radhika and grandfather P Madhusudhan were on their way home after admitting her in class 3 in St Ann’s High school at Hyderguda that afternoon, when a speeding car coming in the opposite lane, jumped the road median and crashed into their car. Her mother Radhika, grandfather and another younger brother of Venkat were travelling in the same car escaped with serious injuries and multiple fractures. Due to the critical injuries, all three are undergoing major surgeries, still her grandfather has to undergo two more surgeries.
Doctors still have not confirmed how long will the recovery of the rest of the family members be. Venkata Pammi is already burdened by the medical expenses of 20 lakhs. And this still might not be it. He needs our help. Please contribute and spread the word. Every little contribution will reduce Venkata Pammi's burden in these tough times.
All funds raised will be transferred to Venkata Pammi's account. Medical bills will be shared if anyone wants to know more about the family's status. Rest assured, every penny raised will be used to clear the medical expenses.
