 I submit that I am the father of the Patient Master Pradeep Kumar Sen aged-12 (Twelve) years. He was seen by the Department of Hematology Christian Medical College Vellore & diagnosed to have Thalassemia major (This is a type of blood disorder) His brother is HLA matched and can serve as a bone marrow donor and the best option for him would be to undergo allogenic bone marrow transplant (BMT) the estimated cost of BMT at CMC Vellore is approximately Rupees 14.00 Lacs (Rs. Fourteen Lacs) only. I am aged 33 years I am working as a Driver. (Private Car etc.) in a Private sector in my native place. My monthly salary is Rs. 8000/- (Eight Thousand only). My wife Mrs. Pinky Bai Sen aged 30 years, is a house wife. We have 3 Children Fist is Pradeep Kumar Sen (He is the patient studying in 6th class. My Next child is Miss Kalpana Sen aged 8 years. She is student of 2nd class, the last one is Mr. Praveen Sen aged 2 years.

We belong to a lower middle class family with the little income. I am struggling hard to maintain the family since there is no sufficient income for me. My family consists of 5 members and with the little income. I get there is no possibility for me to go head with the treatment of my son. Since the cost of treatment is not affordable to a poor family like ours. No one is coming forward to help us. The only option available to me is to pray your benign Trust and that help only would save the life of my young son.

Respected Sir, I have explained all the mitigating factors of my family and the non availability of funds with me for the treatment of my son I request you to show sympathy towards my young son and render financial assistance to the best possible extent for which my family would be grateful and thankful to your benevolent Trust.
