Story

Hello everybody, my name is Issac and I am from Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. On May 23rd, 2017 when my sister, niece (aged 16 years, she had just completed admissions into Class XI) and another family were about to board a train (that had not completely come to a halt), my niece slipped and fell in between the train and the platform. It was the last but one compartment that she tried to board and so after her feet slipped she fell, got stuck and the last compartment ran over her. She is alive today by God's grace as none of her internal organs in the pelvis area got damaged but she sustained severe injuries and fractures in her pelvis, hands and legs. Doctors have operated on three fractures and other injuries like blood clot and infection.

She has been in the hospital for more than two months now. She has been bed ridden all this while. We do not know how much longer she has to be in the hospital. Her parents have already spent 4 lakhs. Another 4.5 lakhs is needed towards medical expenses.

We request all kind hearts to support Parimala financially so she can raise from her bed and start walking. She will be losing this one year of academics as doctors have told it'll take one year atleast for her to recover.

The fact that she is alive is merely God's grace. We believe that His grace will enable us to raise funds through Milaap. We thank each and every donor in Milaap for such a great work you are all doing. It takes a huge heart to help and we can see a whole lot of individuals doing it here. We thank God for all of you.
