    Mohit Singh

    from Delhi

My friend/ colleague Mohit is fighting with severe brain injury.
Please read his story below as written by his brother :
He has been the sole bread earner for the house after demise of my father years ago. He is a software engineer and works as a senior QA lead with RBS. He has lived his life passionately and he is a hiking and biking enthusiast.
Mohit met with a road accident on 30th December 2016. A policeman found him unconscious on a deserted road few streets away from home. Two hospitals denied admitting him stating that there is no hope for his survival but my brother showed few symptoms that he has not yet given up and still fighting for his life. The doctors at Max Patparganj, New Delhi soon realized and admitted him to hospital. He has been through one major brain surgery and many minor surgeries already and more to come. He has been in and out of the unconscious state but even when conscious he is not able to move himself or respond in any way other than blinking his eyes. After second opinion from experienced doctors we recently moved him to Gangaram hospital, New Delhi on 4th of March 2017.  He is showing signs of improvement now and he can move his hand and legs a bit. The recovery is long and slow process. At this moment, we have spent well over 35 lakhs on his treatment and exhausted all our savings and resources. It has been a great help from his company and friends and I would like to thank everyone who has been with Mohit during his difficult times.
Please help generously as my brother needs your blessings and monetary help to fight for life. Help us fight with unexpected medical costs as he has a very long recovery ahead. It is unclear as to when he will be able to resume work.
The smallest of donation towards my brother's treatment would mean a lot to us. This is the only hope I and my mother is counting on. Please be kind and generous enough to lend a helping hand. God bless everyone!
