I am extremely saddened to announce that Kshitij Jain (Associate Director, FDD), who was part of KPMG since 2010 and a dear colleague of mine for the last 7 years has passed away due to COVID related complications on June 2, 2021, at a young age of 37. He was the only bread earner and was survived by his parents, wife, and one-year-old daughter. He was one of the best colleagues a person can ask for because of his sincerity, humility & dedication, and will always be an inspiration for the DA&S team. He was always very supportive and motivating as a co-worker and been looked upon as a person with creative ideas. With his positive energy and attitude, he was a delight to work with. He kept the firm and team before himself and that is such a rare quality to find. All his contributions to the team and business will always remain a benchmark for everyone to follow. He made remarkable contributions to US geography in a short span of time and built a very strong relationship with Germany and UK leadership.
I was fortunate to know him, be part of several initiatives and share some beautiful memories with him. I am surely going to miss him each and every day and he was like a family at work. I hope he finds eternal peace and his family gets enough strength to overcome the loss. Though we cannot bring him back, this is an attempt to help secure a better future for his family, particularly his little daughter who just turned one. She was the brightest star in his life and he used to thank almighty every day for giving her a lovely daughter. Our little efforts can create a strong foundation for the little one to achieve her dreams and make her father proud.
I request you all to come forward and contribute to this fundraiser to support his family in this tough time.
