Story

Hi, my name is Jeet Gor and I am a 2nd Degree Black Belt. I have been practicing karate since I was 8 years old at United Budokan Karate Academy, Thane. Whole point of sending me to karate by my mother was to make me less mischievous and increase my concentration. During the course of time, my interest and passion for karate reached its peak. Since then I have been practicing karate for last 10 years. I have achieved around 50 medals in my 10 year of karate including state, national and international. I represented India at the 19th FSKA World Karate Championships arranged at Crawley,London in October 2017 in which I won a silver medal in Team Kata Event for India among 20 participating countries from all over the world which was the most proudest moment of my life.
Now I have been selected to represent India at FSKA Open Karate International championship on the account 50th anniversary of independence of Mauritius held at Lycée Labourdonnais School Curepipe - Mauritius on 30th June 2018 and 1st July 2018. Im hoping to raise Rs.1,00,000 through this fundraiser and amount raised through this will be used for following:-
1. Tournament Fees
2. Lodging and Boarding at Mauritius
3. Training Fees
4. Air Tickets (To and Fro)
5. Basic Transport during my stay in Mauritius.
This fundraiser is organised so that I would be able to represent India on grandest stage in Mauritius. Currently due to financial instability and educational loan we are finding hard to raise this specified amount of money. As a son of single parent my mother is trying her best. It would mean a lot if you would be able to support my cause and help me represent India in the field of karate on the grandest stage and make you people, my mother, and my country proud.
