Kamalesh Naskar is an 8 year old child who fought with cancer twice, once at age 4 and again at age 7.

After his 2nd chemotherapy, Kamlesh is going through post treatment recuperation phase and needs support. His father, Sh. Madan Naskar is a daily wage labourer with income ~1500 INR (~23 USD) per month. It is difficult for them to arrange for the money needed for medicines, food etc. Hence the campaign.

In 2012 Kamlesh was diagnosed with Acute Lymbhoblastic Leukemia, a kind of blood cancer.He went for medical treatment in Kolkata Medical College Hospital (a Government hospital). By the end of 2014, he was declared to be out of the disease. 

As doctors advised, the family shifted to their village in the vicinity of Sundarbans to give him better surroundings to recover. Unfortunately, due to storm their thatched hut was destroyed and family had to have a polythene roof for cover. Though there is no consequential evidence, this seems to have triggered the disease again.The family had to come back to the hospital in Kolkata some months ago where the chemotherapy has been done again, for free by Kolkata Medical Hospital.
