Kiran Babu aged 28 years completed his graduation in law from Trivandrum in 2012.He  worked as an advocate in Vanchiyoor court Trivandrum for 4 years and  was earning around 15 k /month .He  got married in 2014 and his wife is also a law graduate practicing law presently earning a stipend of 2k per month.They have a son who is 1 1/2 years old..In the month of May 2016 he came to Ernakulum to attend a wedding of his relative .As he couldnt get tickets for train or bus he decided to take his bike and on his way back met with an accident with a lorry which was negligently driven towards him.He was taken to Vandanam Medical College and subsequently to Amrita Institue of Medical sciences,Kochi.He was ventillated for 3 days and underwent above knee amputation of the right leg injury.He has injured his right hand as well and has undergone multiple surgeries for the same.He has spent 6 lakhs altogether on his treatment so far.He is now entirely dependent on his wife and her relatives and needs about 7 lakhs for his prosthesis and rehabilitation.
