Help Kerala fight the floods!

The flood water is finally receeding and rescue and rehabilitation operations are in full swing. We plan to utilise the funds raised here to aid the students who have been affected by floods by providing them with necessary supplies including stationarity items which would help them continue with their studies normally. We can, in no way, let the floods deny the children their education. After discussions with officials from Trivandrum Corporation, it was concluded that we can run this as a project, working the local authorities and schools within a designated area, depending on the funds we are able to raise. They also put forward the suggestion that we work in Chenganoor, one of the most affected areas in the State and has promised to make arrangements to get this running, at the earliest!

The Flood water has receded and the rebuilding of affected areas have begun. Schools in affected areas are reopening and the children need to start returning to schools. They need help with supplies like notebooks and other stationary items. This is what we are focusing on, presently. We have sought support from ITC to obtain supplies at subsidized rates.
