Dhubri is a district in Assam which is currently totally submerged under water. The current water level is 30.37m while the warning level is at 27.62m and danger level is at 28.62m. It even cross the highest recorded water level 30.36m (was recorded on 1988). The water from the mighty river Brahmaputra is flowing over the Dhubri town and drowned all the ward and villages. Boats are sailing over the Dhubri city. Even the only way to enter the city is closed. The flood victims are somehow staying by the road sides and other elevated places.
There's no electricity, no drinking water, no network coverage. People now just trying to keep themselves alive. It's been 4 days people are suffering and hardly we get any govt. Support. People started to lose their hope. Some peoples are dying.
