I am Dayanand Sharma. I live in Theog (45 kms above Shimla in Himachal Pradesh). I belong to a family of farmers. We are a part of the BPL (Below Poverty Line) Scheme offered by the government. I lost my elder brother in a car accident 12 years ago. Both my parents are handicapped who I take care of along with 2 little kids and my wife. I am the sole bread earner of the family. 

I am writing this with the help of a friend who is supporting the cause and doing his bit.

I had my first kidney transplant on September 7, 2012 where my paternal aunt donated the kidney to me. The surgery and the post surgery expenses for me and my maternal aunt amounted to Rs. 18 lakhs, which I managed on my own with a little help of my sister but it drained out all our life's savings and most of the possessions I had.

There had been issues of kidney rejection in my case partially due to the negligence of the doctor as well post surgery, due to which we changed the consultation to Dr. Sunil Prakash (BLK Hospital, Karol Bagh Delhi). It is because of his efforts that I have been able to sustain for the past 5 years. During my latest consultation with him, he mentioned that I may have to go in for a kidney transplant, again, for the second time as the rejection by the body has increased and it may become life threatening. The time provided to me for making all arrangements is 3 to 6 months. Though, my elder brother's wife has agreed to be the donor, I am struggling to get the finances in place for it.

Hence, I reach out to all of you requesting for your blessings in the form of any financial help that you may be able to extend to me. I would also request you with folded hands to socialize my request in your circles respectively and help a fellow human being. All the medical records are available for your reference, if you may feel the need to go through them. 

Please help me to get back on my feet so I may take care of my family and watch my children grow.
