I am Vignesh. I try to help animals in any way I can. I also rescue them, this is one of the rescue case.
Please stay with me while I explain about the case below. Any help towards this cause would be appreciated.
Last week, We rescued this Labrador dog from a street in Thiruninravur. We asked about this Lab in the neighboring houses.
They said that the owner of the dog abandoned it and don't know who the owner is.
So, we took him to our place and kept him there. We named him Bruno.
Shortly, I noticed that his stomach is enlarged and something seems quite wrong.
So I admitted him at Stray Heart (Heart2Heart) Hospital, Santhome, Chennai.
There are around 5 liters of fluids in his stomach.
Abdominocentesis is being performed daily to remove excess fluids.
To treat Heart Failure in Bruno and help him survive,
he needs to take SafeHeart 5 (Pimobendan 5mg) twice a day
for his entire life.
One pack of SafeHeart 5 costs around Rs. 2,500 which contains 30 tablets.
He needs 60 tablets a month, so it will cost around Rs. 5,000 a month for SafeHeart alone.
He needs to stay in the hospital for 25 more days and the hospital has given me an estimation invoice today.

Radiographs and Blood count tests were taken to determine his condition. He was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.
He was also diagnosed with Ascites, a condition where additional fluids get accumulated in the stomach. which is a result of Heart Failure.
