An Appeal from Mrs Alphonsa

Alphonsa is 38 years old women working as a helper in one of the garments in Salem. She is having one female child (studying 11thstandard). She is the only earning member in her family. Recently she is diagnosed with Breast Cancer and it is affected the right leg & the right leg got fractured (pathological fracture). She is undergoing treatment at CMC Vellore. She needs tumor excision and endo prosthetic replacement. The estimate for the treatment in uncomplicated situation is given as Rs 2.5 Lakhs (CMC doctor letter attached). Since her family is depend on her income, neither she nor their family members generate the money for the treatment. Till now for testing and diagnosis she spent around 1.8 Lakhs.
