    This fundraiser will benefit

    Kuldeep Sharma

    from Delhi

Baby boy Kuldeep is diagnosed with a severe liver disease called Hepatic Biliary Atresia.

What is Hepatic Biliary Atresia?
It is a childhood disease of the liver in which one or more bile ducts are abnormally narrow, blocked, or absent. It causes severe swelling in the stomach.

"My 10-month-old son has been suffering since he was born. He has needed this surgery since when he was 4 months old. His liver function had reduced to 20% at the time. We have been trying to mobilize funds for the surgery. 6 months passed, and now his condition has deteriorated. He needs a liver transplant immediately to stay alive for his 1st birthday", says his father Radhey Shyam Sharma
He has been advised to undergo a liver transplant at the earliest.

In these 6 months, things have gone from bad to worse. It is a liver problem, so it makes Kuldeep itch a lot. You cannot tell a baby not to itch. Even from afar you can see how yellow he has turned. He is not active, does not crawl or even sit like other 10-month-olds. He has not been getting nutrition from milk, so he has not grown much.

Unfortunately, his parents cannot afford the cost of treatment and needs help to treat his son

"We do not have anyone else to support us. We are struggling financially. I would have never even dreamed of stepping into a hospital like Apollo before. This is about my son’s life. He is not even 1-year-old. He has been in pain ever since he was born. His cries express his suffering. I want to do all I can as a father to save him, and give him a life he deserves."
