This is about my cousin, Vignesh who is about 15years old, right after his Class ten Public exams, he had gone swimming in a lake in Vandalur where he had gotten completely submerged in water. He was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit, SRM Potheri for treatment. It was found out that his brain cells were damaged that he lost his memory completely. He returned home with urine tube and food pipe, after which we continued his treatment in a Government Hospital for two months. Later, we approached two other doctors who couldn't be of much help. They had only asked us to continue giving the same medicines he has been taking. His parents are completely down and this 2yr has changed their life completely and spent more then 20 lakhs includes all their savings, help, donation everything.
We had been referred to an Ayurvedic Hospital in Kumbakonam whose treatments seem hopeful. He is relieved of the tubes but is still not able to function on his own. It is taking about 10,000 per month to take him to Kumbakonam and get him treated. Since I've heard that this forum has helped many a people to get help in terms of sponsorship. I wish some such miracle happens to my brother's benefit to continue on his treatment. Please do consider if any of you are willing and able to help. Thank you.
