Hello , I am Vaibhav Chellani , I`m an Information Technology undergrad at BVCOE,New Delhi currently in my 3rd year . I attain great pleasure at solving real life problems using innovative technology . My main interests are Blockchain technology , Web development and trading crypto currencies (Virtual currencies like Bitcoin)
We have been invited for participation in the prestigious hackathon Hack-InOut. It's the largest hackathon held in India annually, and it's being held in Bangalore this year.
A Hackathon is an event wherein we have to convert our ideas into a working prototype within the time frame of 24 hrs . We have to come up with an innovative solution to the given problem statement and implement that idea with the help of technology .
Although we got an invite to the hackathon the travel expenses are something of a problem at the moment . By travel expenses i mean flight tickets from delhi to banglore which cost 10k per person as of today for the round trip .
I have won several hackathons before where I have competed with developers all across the subcontinent . I am a part of Google Developers Group in my college and teach my juniors Android Development , I am also a part of Mozilla Open Source Club and encourage my peers to contribute to open source .
My teammates for the hackathon are also good developers:
1. Hrishi : He is a Google Code In participant and a GSOC mentor at the age of 17 for the organisation Sugar Labs.
2. Rishabh Thaney : He was a GSOC participant for the year 2017 and worked with sugar labs.
Hack-InOut is a great opportunity for any developer across the country and i would love to attend this and hopefully win it .
We are really passionate developers and regular hackathon attendees, with honourable awards and positions in past hackathons. This is a huge hackathon and it will help us gain more experience, and learn about new technologies from awesome developers and mentors there.
I hope we can raise the required money to attend the hackathon. Thanks in advance for supporting our developer dream of participating in a hackathon of such calibre.
