Story

Dear All,
My name is Umapathy 74yrs old fighting to retain my left leg. I am not a literate and nothing much I know about diabetes. All I came to know is its a type of non curable disease which stays with me life long when I became diabetic 20 yrs ago.
All was fine till Dec 2017 until this happened. My bottom part of left leg started to have fungus formation and i thought it was normal fungus due to rainy weather and did not pay much attention. Nothing I knew at that time it might cost my walking.
It was gangrene formation and my elder son noticed the same by Dec 4th week and when he asked me about the condition I still told him it was normal fungus and will settle down.
But my son rushed me in to hospital very next day and loads of test were performed and the very same day my 3 left left fingers were removed due to gangrene.
I felt a sigh of relief when the procedure was completed. However nothing I knew that the worst is yet to come. Doctors after the procedure found that the blood flow was not there and angio gram had to be performed to find the percentage of blood flow and results revealed that angio plast was a compulsion and stent was placed in my left leg.
Now doctors say that we have to monitor and if required then amputation might even extend further in left leg.
The whole procedure has cost around 3.5 Lakhs and still not sure if it's going to extend and will I be able to continue walking on my own. I am not a wealthy person and my son's are not earning so great. We make earning for a living and 3.5 Lakhs is a huge pile of money which i am not sure how i am going to pay neither are my sons. We are left clueless and any amount that you can help me with will make a big difference.
Thank you.
