She is an adorable 1-year old furball, who is now feeling completely lost without the only people she considered her family.
Another 10-month old Indie called Roy, was being fostered by the same family.
They have both been through a very difficult time. Finding homes for Desi dogs in India is extremely difficult, especially when they are 6+ months old. We have actively posted about them for months and have not managed to find interested families.
Both the dogs have a chance to happy lives again, in Chicago! They will be flown to the home of the founder of the International Street Dog Foundation who will, henceforth, find them loving homes.
They are currently at a boarding in Gurgaon and a visit can be arranged for anyone who'd like to meet them.
Sending them abroad means a very happy ending for them and a second chance at life, but it costs a lot of money. We can use your help here.
The expenses are as follows (per dog):
Ticket: 60,000 INR
Paperwork: 4000 INR
Crate: 10,000 INR
Boarding and training (prior to departure): 9,000 INR
Microchipping: 2500 INR
Making the total for two dogs, 1,71,000.
The target has been set to 1,87,000 INR because 8% of the amount raised is to be paid to MILAAP.
Please donate! Every rupee counts.
