3-year-old Swati was diagnosed with a severe heart disease just a few months back called Secundum Atrial Septal Defect.

What is Atrial Septal Defect
It is a congenital heart disease that occurs in children which causes a hole in the heart wall.  The symptoms of such a disease can be severe if not treated on an urgent basis. The child suffers from chronic breathing problems, fatigue, respiratory infections and if not treated early can also cause heart failure.

Swati has been asked to undergo an open heart surgery on an urgent basis.
 Swati is too young to be going through such a severe condition.

Unfortunately, Swati's parents do not have the funds necessary to afford her surgery and are worried that if they do not get her treated she may not survive.
