I beg to submit a heart-breaking situation of Sri Subrata Rudra Paul, S/o: Sri Nepal Chandra Rudra Paul, Khowai, Tripura, a bright young boy who has completed Batchelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) degree from College of Fisheries, Central Agricultural University (Imphal), Tripura, India. 

He has been suffering from ‘corrosive supraglottic and hypopharyngeal stricture’ due to accidental ingestion of a corrosive chemical (during his UG programme five years back).

He has been operated thrice in the last five years but his condition has not improved and needed to be operated again. He is unable to take food and breathe properly and he is being fed liquid food through a tube now. His operation will be done at ST. Thomas Hospital, 5/105, Defence colony road, St. Thomas Mount, Channai 600016 by Dr. Sanjeev Mohanty, MS (ENT).

So far a total cost of Rs. 20 lakhs has already been incurred and spent for his treatment. At least Rs. 9 lakhs will be required (estimate enclosed) this time for his urgent surgery. 

As he belongs to a poor family, his father is a retired person and they have already spent a lot of money to date.  Now, it has become impossible to manage the required fund to save his life. 

Therefore, we humbly pray before your kind self to provide financial assistance for his treatment.
