Meet Subh, one of the bright-eyed geniuses of Advait, the 5th standard classroom in Mangalam Convent School, Ahmedabad.. Subh is an 11-year-old from a village near Lucknow with a copious amount of curiosity and an unending thirst for learning new things. When he is not taking care of his younger siblings or making models out of waste material, he is wondering where the smoke goes if the sun is a ball of fire. You ask him why he doesn’t go to tuitions like other children from his community, he says he’d rather teach himself and take responsibility of his own studies. His parents are busy stitching clothes to make a living, his dreams are of becoming a scientist.
He has been presented with an opportunity to move a step closer to realizing his dreams after being selected for Hamaari PiCycle- a week-long residential programme organised by Aavishkaar.
This programme will let Subh interact, exchange ideas, collaborate and explore our world through a scientific lens with his peers from across the country.
This campaign is to fund his journey. Further details are given below.
Any and all of help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
