About the Fundraiser
In Karnataka we have about 7 lakhs+ students appearing for SSLC board examinations from Govt High Schools.
SSLC examinations are one of the career deciding exams for the students.
Securing less will led them to choose the Schools/Colleges which are not up to mark or take up further studies in Subjects which are of not their interest and discontinue their studies.
To score better and continue their studies they encounter a number of hurdles.
We cannot eradicate every thing, but take a step to reduce it.
Some of the things what often they feel short of is Note Books for practices and making notes, Stationeries like Gel Ball Pen, pencils, erasers, geometrical instruments etc…
So we have been working towards them and have been distributing the same to the students.
For each student we need Rs.250 which gives them a Geometric Box(Which has compass, protractor, divider, scales) Set of Pencils - 5, Highlighters, Examination Pad - 1 and Gel Ball Pen - 1 (with 2 refills).
Help us to achieve this by donating as much as you can.
Only a well educated society can fight against the evils.
We would need Rs.25,00,000/- to help 10000 students.
Even a smallest of your contribution will help them a lot.
About Us and What we have done Before :
We are a group of similar minded young people committed to bring changes in the society.
We have done a bit of charity in the education field from past 3 years.
1) Books donation and text books donation - Jan-2015, 2016 and 2017.
2) Free seminars for 1500 SSLC students in Bangalore Rural - Feb 2016 and 2017 .
3) Distribution of exam pads for rural 1300 students - Mar 2015 and 2016.
Whom we want offer help :
Students studying in Govt and Aided Schools in Bangalore Urban and Rural.
We will be distributing to all the students studying in SSLC in Goverment High Schools.
