I am writing on behalf of the ZPPS Khodade Mohitewadi school, The ZPPSKM school is operated by local and supported by Government. I am Prasad Joshi, I am associated with Lions Club Of Mumbai Yuva, its a NGO associated with Lions Club of International , I have been referred this case by my office colleague , I found it they need urgent money to Renovate the school hence taken up the challenge for raising funds for the school.
The school was constructed with an objective of promoting literacy and higher learning in the country.
Education is the prime focus of ZPPSKM. Education plays a crucial role in the development of a country. No country has succeeded if its people are not educated. With this belief, we cater to children of the poorest of the poor, so that they can lead a dignified life and grow to become contributing members of societies.
The Reality
-The school was constructed in 1971 and repaired periodically , we have attached the photographs of school for your better understanding , school class room and the entire area of school is shown.
-The current school infrastructure wise is very weak and need renovation immediately.
- The school is unable to provide any extra-curricular activities. This includes sports and art.
- Most students come from poor families. This reality manifests in disruptive behaviour to self and others.
-Infrastructure wise, the school lacks basic facilities like benches, classroom space, computers, library, boards etc.
- Many students are unable to afford books or pay fees because of lack of funds and as a result drop out.
Our Goals
- We want to secure our children from any unexpected accident and damage.
-We want to repair the school immediately and provide safe shelter for students to study.
- We wish to see our students as individuals who have a strong sense of self and are driven towards achieving their own goals and dreams. We want them to become self-sufficient, responsible and kind adults ready to take on any challenge that comes their way.
