My heart goes with anyone who has seen cancer in his/her family. Recently I saw the wife of my childhood friend ‘Mr Saurabh’ suffering from leukemia. Positive thing is that, If bone marrow transplant goes well it is still curable.

After spending 23 lacks from his pocket, his family is completely exhausted and going though severe financial crisis. They need our support to fight this deadly disease. This is our time to show that humanity and compassion still exists.
How and when it Happened?
His wife was completely fine till March 2017, all of sudden she started facing soreness in her throat. After the seeing the severity of soreness, the doctor recommended him for a further bone marrow test.
Hardly he would have imagine that his happy life would take such a drastic turn. The report that he saw on 16th April was heartbreaking, which showed that she was suffering from a rarest case of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia which requires Stem cell transplant (Bone Marrow Transplant) in ten days from now. The treatment may last for 40 to 45 days.

Financial status of Saurabh:
Saurabh’s retired father is a heart patient who has undergone angioplasty for three times, and he has two little daughters of aged 7 and 10. He and his father had already spent 22-23 Lacks from their pocket in about 90 days. It is expected that they need almost the same amount in the coming future. The estimate cost of this treatment is too high with daily expenses for Consultants Visits, Chemotherapy, Tests and Radiotherapy, Blood and Platelets Transfusion, Medicines, Room, Food and with basic amenities costing 40-45 thousands per day and paying them for another 40-45 days is out of his financial capacity.
He has requested a relief from for PM’s and CM’s relief fund. Even then, he will need to arrange at least 14-15 lacks for the coming bone marrow transplant on 25th Aug 2017 and them for post treatment procedures.
Humanity is still alive:
For Saurabh/Alka and his family, this cost is realistically impossible to bear. So, we are running this campaign to help her survive and rise up against all the odds by little contribution on this cause. According to us this cause is even bigger building temple, mosque church or a Gurudwara.

आप सभी फुर्सत के पल के साथियों से बड़े ही संकोच पर एक अपनेपन के रिश्ते के आधार से आपको बताना चाहता हूँ की दुर्भाग्य से मेरी धर्मपत्नी अलका श्रीवास्तव को ब्लड कैंसर हो गया है और मैं पिछले 3-4 महीने से राजीव गांधी कैंसर इंस्टिट्यूट रोहिणी 5 नई दिल्ली में हूँ और उनकी कीमोथेरेपी करवा रहा हूँ। परंतु अब डॉक्टर ने बोन मेरो ट्रांसप्लांट की सलाह दिया है। अब तक मैं 22 - 23 लाख रूपये इलाज में खर्च कर चुका हूँ और डॉक्टर के अनुसार लगभग 18 - 20 लाख का और खर्च आयेगा। मैंने प्रधान मंत्री और मुख्य मंत्री राहत कोष के लिए भी आवेदन किया है परंतु फिर भी एक बड़ी राशि का और इंतेज़ाम मुझे करना होगा। दुर्भाग्य से हम सब जैसे एक मध्यम आय वर्ग के व्यक्ति के लिए ये जीवन के सबसे बड़े संकट की तरह है।मेरी दो छोटी बेटियां 7 वर्ष और 10 वर्ष की हैं। इस संकट की घड़ी में मुझे आप सभी संवेदनशील ,सज्जन और भद्र लोगों से अत्यंत संकोच के साथ एक अपील करनी है कि अगर आप सभी अपने स्वेच्छा और उदारता स्वरुप कुछ आर्थिक मदद कर सकें तो ये भी अपने ग्रुप के लिए एक नयी मिसाल और मानवता अभी भी जीवित है का एक सशक्त उदाहरण होगा ।यदि दोनों राहत कोश से मदद मिल गयी तो भी मुझे लगभग 13-14 लाख रुपए का इंतेज़ाम करना होगा। आप सभी के पोस्ट पढ़कर एक संबल मिलता है और एक गंभीर, संवेदनशील, सच्चे और मानवीय मूल्यों की समझ और अहसास वाले ग्रुप का परिचय मिलता है। मैं बड़े गंभीर और ईमानदार स्वभाव का व्यक्ति रहा हूँ जिसकी ताकीद रजनीश त्रिपाठी मेरे सेन्ट एंड्रूज कॉलेज का मित्र और इस ग्रुप का संस्थापक तथा रामदत्त यादव जिसे हम दोनों प्यार से आर डी बुलाते हैं , भी कर सकता है।काफी समय से इन्ही परेशानियों की वजह से मै कोई पोस्ट या कमेंट नहीं कर पा रहा था। क्या लिखूं समझ नहीं पा रहा हूं। बस मन में बहुत बेचैनी छटपटाहट और अपने को बहुत बेबस और मजबूर प् रहा हूँ। कोई भी पति या पत्नी अपने जीवन साथी को इस प्रकार की दशा में देखने की कल्पना मात्र से भी सिहर उठता है पर मैं उस से गुजर रहा हूँ।रुपए पैसे की अनुपलब्धता की वजह से अगर आपका पति या पत्नी की असामयिक घटना हो जाये तो वो व्यक्ति अपने को कैसे माफ़ करेगा और अपने बच्चों को क्या जवाब देगा? ईश्वर द्वारा इस परीक्षा की घडी में आप सबका सहयोग चाहता हूँ। इस से ज्यादा मुझसे लिखा नहीं जा पा रहा है। अश्रु भी बेईमान हो चले है।
