Sapna has always been a cheerful lady. It was an arranged cum love marriage. Just like any other story, our love story also saw many up’s and downs…
Happiness rang our door with the birth of our first child, our son “Jai Malhotra”. It felt great to be a father. I as any other father started dreaming that my son would one day become my extended support .But fate took an unexpected turn,just after 2 months of birth our son was diagnosed with Thalassemia major. It was really painful to see my son being injected with needles and to think that this will continue throughout his life was even more saddening.I lost all my hope,but Sapna motivated me that together we will raise this child.
In the years to come,we were blessed with two beautiful daughters VEDIKA and SHUBHANGI. Life was getting better but my little world shattered when Sapna got diagnosed with breast cancer. It was really hard to believe ,the thought of losing SAPNA was killing me inside out. I was totally shattered but decided to fight this battle along with my wife ,with everything I had under my power.
In the next four years we knocked doors of each and every doctor and hospital we could approach.But in this fight my business came to zero, to continue the treatment, I had to sell my shop and my house got mortgaged with bank. Also during the course of treatment I got my elder daughter married and also had to care of my younger daughter’s education.
The latest chemotherapy advised by doctors comes at a cost of 13,00,000(RS 13 lakh) which owing to previous treatment cost , I am unable to afford .I cannot leave my wife, my son and my family in lurch. And to continue this battle I now need your moral help ,financial help as well as your prayers.
P.S : Each cycle of chemotherapy takes 3 weeks , Doctor has advised us 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Hence,the duration of treatment is 18 weeks.
