Santosh Lalita Jain Foundation has initiated "Roti On Wheels" in order to acknowledge the problem of hunger.We aim to provide support to less privileged of the society on three significant areas related to growth and development. They are Education, Healthcare and Food.
Some work done by Santosh Lalita Jain Foundation for the welfare as mention hereunder :-- Engaged in providing relief to children by way providing lunch to school children under AKSHAY PATRA SCHEME.
- Apart from various humaneness services rendered through substantial contribution for setting up DIALYSIS CENTRE near Kalikapur, Kolkata, it has installed 11 new DIALYSIS Machines.
- The Trust has also contributed for welfare of Cows and other animals through CALCUTTA PINJRAPOL SOCIETY.
Roti ON Wheels- Khushiyoun Ki Gaadi is an initiative taken to fight against hunger.It is a mobile vehicle which provides healthy, fresh and nutritional meals for free to the ones in need. Vehicle will move around slum areas of greater kolkata. It is equipped with an automatic roti making machine which makes 1000 rotis /hour. We provide roti with pickle and/or sweets. We wish to serve more than 1000 people every day.
