Mr. Tomy M.M. aged 50 years,  is a small farmer in the Idukki District of Kerala. He is a heart patient and is under treatment for the same. His wife, Regi, (that is, my aunt) is suffering from cancer and is under treatment.  She is to undergo a major surgery in November,  2018.  The cost of surgery, after deducting all discounts and Government aids, comes to around Rs.5-7 lakh rupees.   They do not have any income to meet the cost of treatment, except their very  meager income from farming   which is hardly sufficient to maintain them and their two school going daughters.
