Hello Dear People,

This fundraiser is for Ravi Prakash who is fighting from Metastatic Cancer. Metastatic cancer is a cancer that has spread from the part of the body where it started to other parts of the body. Ravi is 30 year old man working in Hyderabad, originally from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

His fight with cancer has been going on for quite some time and after completion of 4 chemo-therapies, there was a testicular tumor detected last month. Now, he has been referred to R.G. Memorial Cancer Hospital for surgery to remove this tumor. Hospital has provided estimates of INR 6,00,000 (6 Lac Rs.) for the surgery alone. Surgery is to be scheduled as soon as funds are arranged.

Ravi is the main bread earner for his family of 5, and his savings are already spent in his ongoing fight with cancer. This fundraiser is created by Ravi’s school friends to support him for the cost of this surgery including post surgery expenses and his ongoing fight with this metastatic cancer.

 We estimate that we would need to help him with at least a total of 10 Lac Rs for him to get back to a normal life. We have already raised about 4 Lac Rs with financial help from school mates and friends, which would not even suffice the cost of surgery. So we are starting this fundraiser, so that we can at least raise another 4 Lac Rs to help Ravi fight cancer.
