My wife Sheela felt severe abdominal pains in seventh month of pregnancy so I took my wife to hospital and I got to know there from doctors that she is going to deliver her twins before completion of nine months.
She delivered her extremely premature twin’s babies through normal delivery in Government Hospital Sonipat on 17.05.2018. We all were in full of joy after getting the news of twin babies but our hopes and happiness were shattered very soon after hearing from the doctors that chances of their survival are very less unless they get good intensive care.
Due to the facility constraints in government hospital they referred our babies to PGI Rohtak for better care but there was also non availability of beds even in PGI Rohtak. Babies were again referred to Kalawati hospital Delhi. There again we faced the same problem.
We got tired of running here and there and almost lost our hopes but somehow we got bed in Malhotra hospital, Panipat. Poor financial condition again forced me to decide to shift our babies to government hospital in Sonipat. But again babies were refused admission in GH NICU after keeping them for sometime in observation. Babies were finally shifted to this hospital {i.e. NEST HOSPITAL} in a very sick condition in the middle of night.
My babies were delivered very prematurely and meanwhile in refusal from four hospitals, babies got more sickness and condition was getting worse. They are now in special care unit and no one is allowed to touch them because a small infection can harm them.
I am very poor and not in condition to help my children financially but according to the doctor these small babies can be saved if we are able to provide them good financial support.
I, my wife and parents have stopped talking to each other since last few days; I have lost my daily wages job and could not do much unless some kind of help comes to me. I will be very grateful to all of you throughout my life if you can donate even little amount for them.
Over the last few days babies were showing improvement. Their chances of survival are good if they got proper medical treatment. Daily wager and devastated, Ashok needs around 5 lakhs to fund prolonged NICU stay and save his Twin’s life. He is currently asking for help from everyone possible to save their little twins.
