Prakash is 20-year-old. He is suffering from bone cancer at very end stage; belongs to very remote area of Odisha named Kandhamal also from a very poor family,
It's also difficult to take a proper meal, though he is admitted at Acharya Harihar Regional cancer research centre, Cuttack, Odisha but didn't get any kind of improvement till today since 24th Feb.

His family also can't take the decision to shift him private hospital due to lack of finance.
Medical Team come to conclusion for Amputation of his one leg(left).

Dear Supporters,
Here is an update on Prakash's health.

Prakash is being treated at Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Research Center from the past one month.

He had his first chemotherapy done on 20th March'17, followed by the next one on 28th March'17. Ideally, the operation should have been done after the two sessions but his response curve was very low so he had another session day before yesterday.

His next session is scheduled on 14th April'17 and depending on how well he takes it, the doctors will decide whether to go for an operation or not.

"The main problem was that his treatment was neglected for one and a half years due to lack of funds, because of which his condition has become very serious and cancer has spread to his kidneys now", said his friend and the alumni member of Navodaya, Mr. Liaquat Ali, who currently is looking after the campaign.

Prakash's parents are with him at the hospital the entire day and Mr. Ali also visits along with other alumni members.

Thank you so much for your support. Please pray for his recovery. We will keep you posted on the same.

Regards,
Team Milaap.
