At Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, we spur on our beneficiaries to defy all odds despite their impairments. Our runners are visually impaired and have displayed a penchant for running but life's hardships and realities have prevented them from moving forward.
With the mentorship of Samarthanam and training from abled coaches, our visually impaired runners have taken on this challenge to run the 150km marathon and defy all odds.
We challenge you to join us as we organise our first ever 150km Ultra Marathon. Our 6 visually impaired runners will create the record as they run from Mysuru to Bengaluru from Jan 23rd to 25th flagging off at Mysuru palace. The event will be flagged off by The Honorable Queen of Mysuru, Her Highness Rajmata Pramoda Devi Wadiyar.
Mr Milind Soman, Founder of Pinkathon, celebrity runner, will run along. I, Mahantesh, will be there to cheer them on their feat and personally contribute my gift for this run.
