On 03 May 2019 Cyclone Fani made a landfall at Puri with heavy rains and wind speed of 240 kmph, left a trail of destruction in Odisha. The cyclone has affected millions people, seriously disrupted communications, leveled thousands of homes, destroyed paddy crops and swept away livestock.
