My brother Dr. T.Netra Teja bearing Andhra Pradesh medical registration no. APMC/FMR/100981 has been suffering from Neuroendocrinal Carcinoma of lung since 16.03.2018. He completed his MBBS in Sri Devaraja Urs Medical College, Kolar in the year 2015. He got married in December 2016 and was blessed with son in the month of November 2017 who is now about 1 year 4 months old.

In the year 2018 he was preparing for defense medical doctor recruitment and used to do physical workouts. While doing workouts he felt intense pain in his hip region which started increasing with time and he consulted various doctors and underwent many tests on the doctors advise. He was diagnosed with Neuroendocrinal Carcinoma of lung with skeletal metastasis on 16.03.2018 in Nizam Institute Of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. Later again he had undergone a biopsy for further confirmation in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and he started taking chemotherapy and he took his 1st cycle of chemotherapy in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He continued his further treatment in HCG Hosptal, Bangalore and he completed 6 cycles of chemotherapy there as the 1st line of treatment.

But his body had not responded to the chemotherapy so the doctor advised him to take 6 cycles of oral chemotherapy as the 2nd line of treatment which was completed in March 2019. He had undergone a PET-CT scan after the 2nd line of treatment. After inspecting the PET-CT reports the concerned doctor. Dr. Shekar Patil further suggested to go for immunotherapy which is very costly treatment and the treatment nearly costs around 15-20 lakhs.

Till now we have spent a lot of money on hospital expenses which come up to around 15 lakhs by the end of 2nd line of oral chemotherapy which we could only afford by taking loans from friends and relatives. And now again he has to undergo immunotheraphy which costs around 2.5 lakh per cycle. Now we are unable to continue further treatment due to financial problems. So I kindly request to help him continue his further treatment. Please come forward to help me save my brother. Any contribution will immensely help my family. I need your support to bring him home.
