What is Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis
It is a life-threatening immunodeficiency. It affects people of all ages and ethnic groups. Common symptoms are fevers, enlarged spleen, low blood counts and liver abnormalities.
This condition has made Nagaraju extremely weak and prone to constant fevers. He struggles to go about with his day and has been suffering like this for the last two years.
The only treatment for his condition is a bone marrow transplant. His father has volunteered to be a donor and the total cost of the treatment is around 30 lakh Rs.
Unfortunately, this amount is far too high for Srinivasa to pay as he earns a meagre salary of just 3000 Rs per month.
Without this amount, the treatment cannot take place. Nagaraju and his family need our help.
