Financial support for Kidney Transplant of Mr. Murali 

             May you read this letter in good health. This reaches
you, kindly requesting for financial support regarding a kidney transplantation
surgery. The details are as appended below.

            Mr. Murali ,47 Yrs (S/o Unikkandath Unnikrishnan Nair,
Kadambur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Kerala) who used to work in a hotel at Thrissur
as  steward  is survived by his wife and two children. His
wife is homemaker and both children are students. Mr. Murali is diagnosed to
have Systemic Hypertension, Chronic
Glomarulonephritis, Chronic Kidney disease - Stage 5, at Amrita Institute
of Medical Science, Kochi. He has been planned for Kidney transplantation at
the earliest with his wife as the proposed Kidney donor.  The cross matching has been conducted and the
result is positive. The approximate amount for renal transplantation at AIMS is
estimated to be Rs. 6,50,000 /-  The post
surgery treatment would approximately cost around 5,50,000/-.In total the cost
would amount around 12 lakhs. This figure stands gigantic for a common man like
Mr. Murali to afford. The hospital authorities have given maximum support with
regards to the treatment. Presently Mr. Murali’s case is being attended by Dr.
George Kurian, Professor in Nephrology, AIMS, Kochi. It is pertinent to mention
that Mr. Murali hails from a middle class Hindu family with no sound financial
capacity or background to bear such a financial expense. The donor and receiver
being from  same family, most importantly,
parents of two children who are students, the post operation treatment remains
a matter of concern. The bread earner of the family will be bed ridden for
about six months. 

            Well wishers and relatives of Murali are helping him out
for this cause financially in their possible limited way they could; but time
stands amidst life and death of this noble man. All possible ways by which a
helping hand could reach out would be highly appreciated. The matter has also
been put out online for fundraising using social media support with the help of
a platform Milaap.org. His friends are knocking doors seeking possible
contributions. Further with the help of Panchayath authorities a joint account
at Punjab National Bank, Ambalapara  has
been created with the name “ MURALI
SAHAYA NIDHI” with account number 4253000100069745. The transplantation is scheduled on 01.11.2017. As the time
is too short to gather the required amount of 12 lakhs ; you are hereby kindly
requested to look upon the matter as soon as possible and contribute generously
